Rainbow Springs is proud to be home of the world’s leading kiwi hatchery! They are extremely proud to have hatched over 2,000 kiwi chicks to date, making them the largest and most successful hatching centre.  Today you will enjoy a special ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Rainbow Springs Hatchery to see real kiwi conservation in action. Learn all about the efforts of our kiwi husbandry team, discover what it takes to hatch a chick… and if you’re lucky, see baby chicks in person!
