Today we are off to Gordonton for an art fix. Gordonton village is a great location to explore. It provides fun activities, beautiful gardens and is filled with history. There is a favourite hidden gem called The Mandarin Tree Gallery. Claudia who set up the gallery is an artist herself who showcases many local and famous New Zealand artists. After we have had a good look around the gallery and village, we will then head to the Willow Glen Café and garden. Weather permitting you can also dine outside in the beautiful garden which was originally designed by the late Eion Scarrow of Dig This – one of NZ’s television history greats. Other places of interest are Arkanda Interiors.
