Description
We have chosen to take you to visit some places which are not on the way to somewhere – which means you need to make a decision to take these roads less travelled by Kiwi’s. These regions are no more less beautiful or attractive than their neighbours. Hanmer Springs is a resort town in the Canterbury region – but has very few tourists in comparison. Then again, we will take the road less travelled to Nelson, which is over the Lewis Pass, through Murchison before arriving at Nelson to stay inner city at the beautiful Rutherford Hotel. We will enjoy some trips out of the city over the Takaki Hill to Collingwood, a visit to Mussel Inn on the way, and a little sojourn to Kaiteriteri along with multiple other out of the way destinations. You will get to hang out with the locals, and enjoy all which Nelson offers at this time of year. Nelson still boasts more sunshine hours than we do here in Tauranga.
