Description

The Kings official Coronation is 6^th May, but we are going to celebrate the occasion on the 10^th.  There have been 62 Monarchs over about 1200 years.
In a medieval fashion, we are going to eat food fit for a King!  A set menu consisting of slow cooked Lamb Hocks accompanied by potatoes, kumara, carrots, cauliflower & broccoli with cheese sauce. Then there’s steamed pudding!

Today we are off to historical Forta Leza Restaurant, located on the main highway to Katikati. The lovely staff there are going to cook us up a scrumptious two course meal to fill our bellies. As this is a licensed restaurant, perhaps you may wish to purchase a beverage from the bar to toast our latest monarch: Charles Philip Arthur George, now to be known as King Charles III.
