Everyone has heard of THE OYSTER FARM in Ohiwa. It originally opened in 1968 and has many owners come and go. In 2023 new owners took over and their operation is now known as Tio Ohiwa. They have strong values of sustainability, community and innovation. As part of that innovation, they have introduced harbour cruises.

Come on an unforgettable journey with us, cruising the Ohiwa Harbour on the purpose built “Kotiti”. We will cruise pristine waters, experiencing the rich history from the area. The boat trip includes Ohiwa Oyster Farm, Ohakara Island and Tauwhare Pa.

We will pick you up from your home and transport you to Ohope and transfer you to the boat. We will stop en route for morning tea.
Come with us for a fun day out, finishing up with lunch at the Oyster Farm. Oysters and chips or fish and chips…which will you choose?
