Helps to protect our native kiwi bird in its natural habitat. Save the Kiwi work alongside iwi, conservation groups and the Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai to reverse the decline of the national kiwi population.

As donors we have become part of Te Manawa o Maungatautari – the Heart of Maungatautari. We are their Kaitiaki (Guardians). We are helping to protect this precious eco-system for the future.

Aerocool Rescue Helicopter

Our top priority is the safety and welfare of all people in New Zealand, both visitors and residents alike. Whether you are on land or the ocean, it is imperative that in an emergency you have medical help available as soon as possible. A rescue helicopter can be airborne in 10 minutes and in a life or death situation this speed and agility can make all the difference. The timely assistance that rescue helicopters provide can reduce disability and improve survival – the sooner treatment begins, the greater chance of patient recovery. This life saving service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We give visitors the option when paying for their tour if they would like to donate to this service. 100% of any donation we receive goes to our local Aerocool Rescue Helicopter Service.
